John Moulds AIMS Scholarship
The John Moulds AIMS Scholarship was established in October of 2011 by South Central Association of Blood Banks in his memory. John was a passionate Immunohematologist, who was best known for establishing the international Serum, Cell and Rare Fluid Exchange (SCARF). He was the consummate teacher always willing to share his knowledge with anyone who asked. John was the Director of Scientific Support Services when he lost his almost 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Award applicants are restricted to those persons currently employed or being educated in the field of Immunohematology and/or reference laboratory. Applicant may be an individual member, employed by an institutional member, or currently enrolled in a higher education institution with a focus on Immunohematology and reference laboratory work.
The John Moulds Scholarship consists of full & complimentary registration to attend the Advanced Immunohematology & Molecular Symposium (AIMS), two night’s hotel accommodations in the meeting hotel and a one year Individual membership in South Central Association of Blood Banks.

AIMS Attendee Scholarship
The AIMS Attendee Scholarship vendor supported attendee scholarships which will be awarded to members in good standing on an as needed basis. Individual members or those employed by an institutional member may request funds to be applied toward costs associated with attendance at the Advanced Immunohematology & Molecular Symposium. Selection is based on individual explanation of need, professional and educational objectives for attending the meeting, and a statement of support for attendance by the individual’s employer.
